Student Interns at District Office

We are once again looking to work with some of our students by providing an opportunity for them to serve as Student Directors of First Impressions (Jr. Receptionists) at the District Office. We are looking for high school/charter high school/adult education students who would benefit from this internship as they work to acquire the work-based learning credits/hours needed for their programs. This is a paid internship.

We are seeking two (2) students - one that can work from 8:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m. and one that can work from 1:00 p.m. - 5:00 p.m. (4:30 on Fridays). The students will need to have reliable transportation and will be paid minimum wage. We are looking for an articulate and personable student with good interpersonal skills to assist in answering phone calls and directing visitors.

Applications will be accepted through September 30th and interviews are expected to take place on October 6th or 7th at the District Office. The successful candidates will begin work on November 3rd (tentatively, and pending a clear SLED background check and reference check). They would work through the end of the school year.
