Yesterday, the boys cross country team lost to 7th ranked Dutch Fork by 1 point. We also beat Wilson High. This puts our season record at 4-1. This was by far the best race of the season for our boys. The team is led by Ben Garrett, Jacob Maldonado, Matt Frierson, Cam Brandenburg, Steven Andreen, Bryan Hall and Jon Kaus.
Girls Cross Country
Last night, the Lady Vikings cross country team took on Dutch Fork and Wilson High School at home. The Vikings defeated Wilson HS 18 to 65 and put up a good fight against the DF Silver Foxes (ranked 2nd in our state) but lost 51-17.
Breanna Murrin had an excellent race, setting a new personal record with a time of 20:25, followed closely by Martina Novotny, Danielle Murrin, Anjali Gottipaty, Gabrielle Herrin, and Annamarie Ringer.
