Girls Golf
The Lady Vikings golf team traveled to Sumter on Thursday, Sept. 4th taking on the Sumter Lady Gamecocks and the Camden Lady Bulldogs for a tri-match at Beechcreek Golf Club. The Lady Vikings were victorious with a team score of 177 to Camden's team score of 197 and Sumter's team score of 244. Low medalist overall was Kamryn Beaman for Spring Valley shooting a 39. Low individual for Camden was Kianna Jones with 45 and for Sumter was Olivia Burns with a 55. Other contributors for Spring Valley were Bonnie Ayres, Payton Starmack and Mary Colvin Temple.
The Lady Vikings next matches will be 4:30 Sept 9th at the Woodlands Country Club taking on Heathwood Hall and 4:30 Sept 10th taking on Westwood at Woodlands.
Girls Cross Country
Spring Valley girls hosted Lugoff Elgin Wednesday, Sept. 3rd. The Vikings had a clean sweep over LE with a perfect score of 15 to 80. Martina Novotney had a great race, running a 21:53 and coming in first! Annamarie Ringer placed on our varsity team in her first ever cross country race, running a 24:09!
