Mu Alpha Theta is currently accepting applications for membership. Applications may be found on the Spring Valley HS Math Department webpage. Mu Alpha Theta is the National High School and Two-Year College Mathematics Honor Society.
To be eligible, you must currently be enrolled or have taken Algebra 2. You must have earned A's or B's in all of your high school math classes.
Due Date: Tuesday, October 21, 2014 by the end of lunch.
Please turn your application in to Mrs. Stiffler (room D127) or Mrs. Fowler (room C138).
No electronic applications will be accepted. No late applications will be accepted, no exceptions.
Furthermore, for induction, you must:
● be able to attend monthly meetings at lunch
● be enrolled in a math class all 4 years of high school
● alternatively, have completed AP Calculus BC
● pay yearly $15.00 membership fee
