B-Team Boys Basketball
The B-Team improved their record to 7-1 last night with a win over Ridge View. The final score was 38 - 60. It was an exciting back and forth first half, but we came out strong in the second half with great defense and fast play to outscore them by 15 in the 3rd quarter. We held on to this extended lead to finish the game. The leading scorers were Mike Simmons and Lincoln Smith with 12 points each. Other scorers were; Darius Cohens (10), Alex Haigler (8), Cornelius Grady (5), Montrey Middleton (5), Austin Eichelberger (4), and Justin McKie and Jacobie Elkins both added 2. Our next game is Wednesday, January 21 against Dutch Fork at 6:45 pm.
JV Girls Basketball
The JV Lady Vikings defeated Ridge View last night 33-28 improving their overall record to 9-2, 3-0 in Region play. The Lady Vikings were led on offense by Sabrina Martinez with 13 points. Breanna Martinez added 9 points, Tierney Porter 5 points, Kristian Wall 4 points and Kamryn Beaman 2 points. The JV Lady Vikings will be back in action on Wednesday, January 21, at Home vs Dutch Fork at 5:30 p.m.
