Girls Lacrosse
Last night girl's lacrosse took a win over Irmo for our first regular season game, coming out 13-2. Leading scoring was Courtney Grooms with 6 goals, junior Sara Lara tallying an impressive 7 draw controls to control the midfield. The lacrosse team heads to conference rival Blythewood next Tuesday.
Boys Lacrosse
The Viking Boy's Lacrosse team were hosted by Irmo HS last night. The result was not pleasant, 15-2, but valuable experiences were gained. Scoring unassisted was Nygal Green. Jay Johnson assisted DeShan Wilson, as well. Defensively, Alan Ayala had 18 saves.
The next game for the boy's lacrosse team will be Tuesday against Blythewood. JV will play at 5:30 and varsity at 7 pm.
Taco Bell Viking Cup Scores 2/26
The girls varsity soccer team defeated White Knoll 1-0 in the first round of the Spring Valley Taco Bell Viking Cup. Morgan Molosso scored the lone goal for the Vikings. The girls will play again at 9:30 Saturday morning at Spring Valleys Ben Stern field.
