Varsity Volleyball
Last nights volleyball action against Sumter Lady Gamecocks. The Lady Vikings conquered Sumter 25-13;25-12;25-21. (3-0). Lady Vikings will be back in action tomorrow in Sumter for the Lady Gamecock Spike-Off. It's an all day tournament starting at 8:00 a.m.
Swim Teams
The SVHS Swim Teams traveled to Irmo for a dual meet on Thursday evening. The defending Region Champions both came away with wins. The girls won, 115-54 and boys used a 94-76 tally.
Double individual winners included Caroline Agostini (200 Free and 400 Free), Tori Agostini (200 Free and 100 Back), Anna Frye (200 IM and 100 Breast) and Carl Lobitz (50 Free and 100 Free),
Single winners include: Kelsey Greene (100 Fly), Breland Green (100 Free), Matthew Greene (100 Fly) and Jonathan Frye (100 Breast).
Relay winners for the girls were 200 Medley Relay (Tori Agostini, Frye, Greene, Annie Lobitz), 200 Free Relay (Caroline Agostini, Lobitz, Greene, Green) and 400 Free Relay (Agostini, Frye, Green, Agostini).
Relay winners for the boys were 200 Free Relay (Frye, Greene, Ryan Staudt, Lobitz) and 400 Free Relay (Alex Gregg, Frye, Greene, Lobitz).
The Viking Swim Teams will be in action next at home on Tuesday, 9/15 against RNE and Ridgeview. The meet will be held at the Woodlands CC and begins at 5:30.
