VEX Robotics Season in Full Swing

Spring Valley's VEX Robotics team, 120E: Green & Gold Robotics, competed in three Nothing But Net competitions in November and December and plans to compete in three more in January and February, including the Viking VRC which will be held at Spring Valley on January 30. The team competed with its x-drive robot (Big Shooter) at the CATS Midlands Qualifier on 12/5, finishing 13th and winning the Excellence Award. The team went with its tank/arcade-drive robot (Li'l Shooter) for the Sevier Falcons Qualifier on 11/14, finishing 21st, and for the Botsquad Icicle Open on 12/12, finishing 8th and winning the Design Award.
