JV Girls Basketball
The JV Lady Vikings defeated Irmo last night 38-26. It was a great team effort on defense. We had several contributors on offense. Tykiera Wiley with 10 pts, Destiny Coleman 8 pts, Kenadi Taylor 5 pts, Shalyn Jacobs, Alexis Mikell and Tiara Sumpter added 4 pts each, Kamryn Beaman 2 pts and Malaysia Irby 1 pt. We will be back in action after the break onJanuary 5 @ Home vs White Knoll at 6:00 pm.
B-Team Boys Basketball
B-Team lost to Irmo last night 24 - 27. It was a close hard fought defensive game. At the end we battled and just fell a little short. The leading scorer was Jairid Bowers with 9 points. Our next game is Wednesday at Sumter.
JV Boys Basketball
We got our revenge last night on the road against Irmo 46-40, the team who beat us in our season opener. It was a total team effort. We played great defensively putting full court pressure on them and causing turnovers which we converted into easy baskets for us. We never lose the lead the whole game and kept our composure despite a late run by Irmo. Freshman Antwann Moore led our team in scoring with 11pts, Darius Cohens 9pts, JaCobie Elkiins 6pts, Qymaine Sanders 6pts, Nicolas Doctor 5pts, and Quincy Hill and Montray Middleton both had 3pts. It was our last game of this year and we're looking forward to working hard over the break to be ready when the new year starts.
