The Electric City Nothing But Net Tournament, held in Anderson on Saturday January 16th, witnessed the premiere of Spring Valley's new robot. The total redesign features a 6-wheel hybrid x-drive and tank-drive base, a central conveyor lift with both left and right side intakes, and a geared 4-motor flywheel shooter operating at 2100 RPM. With the new robot our robotics team, 120E: Green & Gold Robotics, finished 12th in match play and lost in the quarterfinals, but got 2nd in programming skills and 3rd in driving skills. This is a fantastic debut, and the team will likely do even better at our next competition, which is the Viking VRC on January 30 at Spring Valley.
