Varsity Football
The SV Varsity football team defeated Lower Richland Friday night 35-32 to run their record to 2-0. The Vikings were led on offense by Tate I'auolauo who rushed 14 times for 105 yards. Shaun Moore had 6 rushes for 74 yards and 1 TD and Terrell Jackson had 2 rushing TDS. Quincy Hill had 14 rushes for 66 yards and 1 TD and threw for 87 yards and 1 TD. Chase Hayes had a 26 yard TD pass to set up the go ahead TD. Jake Hamilton remained perfect on Extra points going 5-5. Bruce Williams had 2 Punts for a 43 yard average. On defense the Vikings were led by Da'Prince Haynes 9 tackles and a sack, Paul Stokes 10 tackles and big plays by Trevon Duckett, Shaun Moore, London Thompson and Devon Jennings. The Vikings will be at home this Friday vs Arch Rival Richland Northeast HS at 7:30. We need a huge crowd out to support the Vikings.
The B Team will play at South Pointe at 6:00 on Thursday night.
The JV will play At RNE at 6:00.
