JV Football
Last night the JV football team beat Richland Northeast 28-8. The captains for this weeks game were Alex Hererra and Isaiah Miller.

The scoring began after a 20 yard pass reception by Quinard Cox from an Alex Hererra throw to the RNE 1 yard line. One play later, Hererra took it in for our first score. Later on defensively, Darrion Jennings got an interception and returned it 20 yards into RNE territory. Again, Alex Hererra took it in for his second touchdown of the night from five yards out. Later on in the third, a great pitch from Hererra to A back Jayden Gardner on an option went 30 yards to the RNE 6. It was fullback Jacquez Terrell that took it in for the Vikings for the third touchdown of the night. On the last play of the game, QB Alex Hererra again sprung free from 35 yards out and sealed the fate of the Caviliers for the night for his third touchdown. Alex Hererra kicked all the extra points for us, going 3/4.

Defensively, the Vikings were again, very solid. Besides the interception from Jennings in the first, Aiden Long had another sack, Caleb Roberts again was solid at corner with another pass break up, and Sean Adams had a pass break up in the fourth. Zion McCord had a pass break up late in the fourth as well.
