Bless created an original beat for each class, recorded their voices, and will mix the songs for them.
His visit is part two of a unit called "And the Beat Goes On: Reading, Writing, and Performing Our Stories," which was funded by the Spring Valley Education Foundation last Spring. The part of the unit had storyteller Darrion McCloud who gave students advice on having the courage to write their own stories.
Once Bless finishes mixing the songs, they will be available on Ms. Bartell's website.
