Spring Valley High School Teacher Cadets Amina Wallace and Mary Catherine Mauney were among five Midlands region Teacher Cadets to be formally inducted into the South Carolina Chapter of the Teacher Cadet Honor Society. The ceremony took place at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday, March 1, 2017 and was held in the beautiful Breed Leadership Center at Columbia College with the esteemed Senator Mike Fanning providing the keynote address. Selection for this honor is by a Teacher Leadership Committee of the Division and is based on outstanding scholarship, character, leadership, and service.
