Softball
Lexington 13, Spring Valley 10: The Lady Vikings opened up the season with a tough region loss to Lexington. Alexis Edgerton batted 2 for 5, Jade Mickle went 2 for 4, and Hannah Bostic was 2 for 4 with a double, a triple, and 5 RBIs. The girls will host White Knoll on Thursday. Come out and support the team!
Boys Golf
The boys golf team started their season on Tuesday against the Ridge View Blazers. The teams competed at Windermere Country Club in very difficult scoring conditions. Freshman Carson Holroyd, playing in just his first match as a Viking, led all golfers as the low medalist. Adam Patterson, Fulton Jones, Jim Beard and Dawson Fengler were also part of the winning effort.
The Vikings are 1-0 and will face Cardinal Newman on Thursday.
