Savannah Medina is a Senior
at Spring Valley High School and serves as our Turnaround Student for this
year. One of her best qualities is her ability to
see the best in people and situations and to overcome hardship. She has become a role model
inside the classroom and can often be found encouraging her classmates to make
better decisions and trying to make her teacher laugh. Savannah is always willing to help out with
tasks around school and is an extremely hard worker at school, at home, and at
her job. After graduation, Savannah
would like to work with animals because she enjoys being around and caring for
them. Vivian Greene’s quote sums up
Savannah’s outlook: “Life isn't about
waiting for the storm to pass...It's about learning to dance in the rain.” The
future is waiting for Savannah, and she’s ready to take it on. Congratulations!
