Ms. Kristi Schoenfedler was a guest speaker for the Avid classes at Spring Valley. Ms Schoenfedler, a representative with the Pittsburg Institute of Aeronautics (PIA), Myrtle Beach branch, provided students with an overview of the aviation industry, details about the career outlook and post –secondary training, which is provided at PIA in Myrtle Beach. There is high demand for graduates in the aviation industry and many of the commercial airlines have employed PIA graduates.
