Eight Discovery Students Chosen as South Carolina Delegates to Attend the 2020 AJAS Conference

Discovery students Erin Byrd (11), Ridha Fatima (10), Pranav Guntupalli (11), Jane McCallum (11), Andrew Mott (10), Parth Patel (10), Pallavi Rao (11), and Sirawit Shimpalee (10) have been selected as South Carolina delegates to attend and present at the American Junior Academy of Science (AJAS) meeting held in conjunction with the American Association for the Advancement of Science (AAAS ) national meeting in Seattle, Washington in February, 2020. The nominees this year were selected based on having achieved high distinction in both their oral presentations and written research papers.

Congratulations to these outstanding young scientists and their research teachers, Lindsay Rega, Dale Soblo and Michelle Spigner!
