On Saturday, January 25th, 2020, the Spring Valley High School Math Team competed against 19 schools across the state at the annual USC HS Math Contest. Our students had an outstanding performance and they all represented our school very well. Participants included: Sid Gianey (Captain), Sparsho De (Co-Captain), Zachary Huang, Alex McDonald, Wesley Fletcher, Christopher Li, Aleena Chattha, Sahildeep Singh, Siri Avula, and Parth Desai.

Spring Valley: 1st place overall
Single Elimination Tournament
- 16 students with the highest score in the written portion of the contest were selected to compete in the tournament. The top two players go head-to-head in the final round of the tournament.
- Spring Valley had 5 students place in the top 16: Sid Gianey, Sparsho De, Zachary Huang, Wesley Fletcher, and Christopher Li
- Sparsho De and Wesley Fletcher placed in the top 2 and Sparsho De went on to become the grand champion of the tournament.
Individual Contest Winners
