Columbia College has named Peggy Smith and Julia Smith to the inaugural class of Momentum Scholars, an innovative program for academically-minded high school students with big ideas about their futures. Peggy and Julia both received full tuition scholarships (equivalent to $26,800) to Columbia College.
Nominations were received from throughout the country and 50 finalists were selected to be interviewed by teams of community leaders.
