Spring Valley's Health Science II class is hosting our first ever Health Fair which will be held on April 29th from 6pm to 8pm in the main gym and auxiliary gym at Spring Valley High School. The fair is focusing on fitness, health, nutrition, diagnostic assessments, prevention of disease, and wellness. It is our goal to increase awareness in our community as well as educate people about their well-being. It is also beneficial for people to know where to go when the need arises. At the fair, we will have a section for fitness games and other hands on activities, as well as educational booths where health professionals will educate and increase awareness regarding wellness, disease, and prevention. Snacks and beverages that promote a healthy diet and lifestyle will be included. Wellness education will benefit our community but we need your help in doing so. Spring Valley is asking you to be a part of our health fair by providing personnel to perform either educational or screening services. Feel welcome to bring anything such as equipment, business cards, pamphlets, or anything else that will increase your ability to educate others or perform screening services. Spring Valley will be extremely appreciative and thankful for your time and effort in joining us to benefit our community at the Health Fair. We hope we can count on you to be a part of this exciting day.
