There was a great deal of excitement and pride at Spring Valley yesterday when a film crew from South Carolina Educational Television showed up. SCETV, in partnership with the South Carolina Department of Education and Spring Valley High School, was shooting an advocacy piece for quality, sequential art programs for all children. Spring Valley's Fine Arts Department was featured because the school offers an exceptionally diverse, high quality arts program for a school that is not an arts magnet.
