Spring Valley High School ladies proved that football isn't just for boys, as the classes faced off at the annual powder-puff football game on Thursday, November 14th. The senior girls played the freshmen team first. The freshmen put up a fair fight, but were no match for the determined seniors, winning with a final score of 20 to 6. Next to play were the juniors and the sophomores, with the juniors claiming victory 12-0. The last game was a competition against the seniors and the juniors. The seniors were tough, but the juniors claimed victory, and a year of bragging rights, with a sudden death overtime win 6-0 . The games were not only fun but also a wonderful way to collect canned food items and raised money for charities.
