The School Counseling Department will begin the registration/course selection and IGP update for the 2014-15 school year in February. The registration guide is located on the Spring Valley web site under "Departments", "School Counseling" or click here for registration guide.
Current Juniors:
Juniors will be seen individually by appointment. Letters will be mailed to the student's residence. Keep in mind scheduling allows counselors to meet with each student for only 20 minutes, so please discuss your student's future plans in advance to prepare for the meeting. While counselors would like to accommodate request for change in appointments, time constraints do not allow for this.
Current Sophomores:
Sophomores will complete on-line registration during their English class. Counselors will be going into each English class to assist students with their course selections the week of March 3-7. If you would like to meet with your student's counselor to discuss the course selection and to update the Individual Graduation Plan you will be sent a link to your counselor's calendar to make an appointment for the week of March 10-14.
Current Freshmen:
Freshmen will complete on-line registration during their English class. Counselors will be going into each English class to assist students with their course selections the week of March 17-21. If you would like to meet with your student's counselor to discuss the course selection and to update the Individual Graduation Plan you will be sent a link to your counselor's calendar to make an appointment for the week of March 24-27.
