JV Girls Basketball
The JV Lady Vikings defeated RNE yesterday 30-13. Our leading scorers were Anaja Matthews and Breanna Martinez both with 9 points, Sabrina Martinez and Malayah Montgomery both added 5 points, Cierra Wilson and Tiara Sumter both had 1 point. Record 12-0. The JV Lady Vikings will be back in action on Thursday, January 30th @ Lugoff-Elgin at 6:00 pm.
JV Boys Basketball
JV team came up short last night against RNE. We were led in scoring tonight by Javondii Myers with 14 pts. ,Isaiah York 9pts. ,Kiyon Nelson 6pts., Desmond Williams, Demetrick Coney, Savvon Weston and James Wilds each had 2 pts.
Wrestling
The Viking Wrestling Team hosted Eau Claire and our rivals RNE last night for our Annual play for Kay Breast Cancer Awareness Match . The Vikings were victorious in both contests goings 2-0, but not with some drama. The dual against RNE came down to the last match, where freshman Mac Simpson secured the win by pin to lift the team to a 39-34 victory. The team is next in action here at Spring Valley on Saturday, Feb.1st as they host the Regional Dual Tournament.
