Girls Golf defeats Lugoff-Elgin
Volleyball falls to Airport & Westwood

Girls Golf
The 7-1 Lady Vikings took on region foe Lugoff Elgin Blue Demons yesterday in a 9 hole match at Camden Country Club. They were victorious with a team score of 175 to Lugoff Elgin's 267.  Low medalist for Spring Valley was Kamryn Beaman shooting a 38.  Other low score contributors for Spring Valley were: Bonnie Ayres, Mary Colvin Temple and Payton Starmack.

The Lady Vikings take on another region foe Thursday at Woodlands when they host the Blythewood Bengals along with the Sumter Gamecocks in a tri-match. 

Volleyball
The Lady Vikings can't seem to break their losing streak!  They lost to Westwood in three with scores of 18-25;8-25;11-25.

The JV squad is on a roll, they won their match in 2 sets...25-19; 25-21!

The Vikings will be back in action Thursday with Blythewood. Starting at 5:30 JV Varsity @ 7:00 p.m.

Don't forget to wear something purple in support of Domestic Abuse Awareness. We will have $1.00 raffle tickets for two baskets to be raffled off each.  

The Lady Vikings will be walking in the Mayor's Walk for Domestic Violence, October 11 at Finlay Park starting @ 9:00 a.m.  Sign up sheets will be available. Please join us!

Monday night's action, Lady Vikings fell to a 3-0 bout with Airport, 16-25; 21-25; and 20-25.
