Varsity Football
The SV varsity football team lost a close game top Dutch Fork HS 25-12 this past Friday night. The Vikings led 12-10 with less than 7 minutes left in the game before losing a hard fought game. The Vikings were led on offense by Ryan Lee who had 11 rushes for 61 yards and was 4-7 passing for 69 yards. Alec Koon had 11 rushes for 58 yards and 1 TD. RJ Bacon had 2 catches for 42 yards and 1 TD. Cooper Gresham had 4 punts for 1 41.5 average.
On defense the Vikings were led by Sr. Ja'Lon Williams who had 7 tackles, 1 sack and 1 tackle for loss. Tyler Frazier had had 15 tackles and 1 tackle for loss and De'Marcus Muscove had 13 tackles. Keenan Reid and JC Pope each had 10 tackles.
The Vikings have a huge region game this Friday versus Ridge View at Blythewood stadium. The Vikings are now 5-4 on the season.
