Softball
Azalea Invitational Tournament:
The softball team went 4-1 this past week while competing at the Azalea Invitational Tournament in Summerville, moving their overall record to 8-3. We defeated Elizabethton (TN) 7-0, James Island 11-4, Cuyahoga Valley Christian Academy(OH) 9-0, and Clover 4-2. The only loss came at the hands of host school Summerville by a score of 5-0. The girls played very well over the course of the two days, and showed a lot of improvements from the beginning of the season. Whitney Jenkins was named to the AIT All Tournament Team. The team will travel to take on Dutch Fork this Tuesday. Wish them luck!
