Dr. Patrick Hawkins, music faculty member at Spring Valley High School, has recently received several international honors. He has just been named a member of the Board of Directors for the Historic Keyboard Society of North America and will begin his three-year term for this post beginning at the upcoming annual conference in Montreal, Canada. This summer, Dr. Hawkins will be accompanying visiting choirs at Wells Cathedral in England and at St. David's Cathedral in Wales, United Kingdom. In addition, he has also been invited to lecture at the international musicology conference "Muzio Clementi and the British Musical Scene" in Lucca, Italy in November of 2015.
