SV Varsity Football defeated LR 35-14
The SV Varsity football defeated Lower Richland 35-14 last Friday night to runs its record to 1-0 on the season. The Vikings were led on offense by Ty'Juan Fulton who had 10 rushes for 99 yards and 2 TD's. Ryan Lee rushed 6 times for 64 yards and a TD and Cameron Jones had 5 carries for 59 yards and 1 TD. He also had a 58 yard touchdown pass to RJ Bacon in the second quarter. RJ Bacon was 3-3 on Extra points, had 2 punts for a 41.5 average and had 4 of his 6 kick offs go into the endzone. Prince Howard had a terrific game at right offensive tackle for the Vikings.
On defense the Vikings were led by linebackers Paul Stokes with 17 tackles and Kenan Reed with 12 tackles. Cameron Jones and DaPrince Haynes had 9 tackles a piece. Shawn Moore had 6 tackles,1 tackle for loss and 1 pass break up. Henry Brown, Channing Tindall and Devon Jennings all had a sack for the Vikings defense.
