Congratulations to Spring Valley High School orchestra director, Dr. Janine Parnell! She has been selected to present a conference session at the National Association for Music Education (NAfME) conference in November of 2016, in Texas. Her session is entitled, "Yes, autistic students can play in the orchestra!” The session will include research she has conducted on the subject; along with professional experiences she has had teaching and conducting orchestra students with autism.
