Boys Golf
The varsity golf team has started it season undefeated with 3 victories this week. They defeated White Knoll, Brookland Cayce and Airport with an average margin of victory of 27 strokes. DJ Fleurent was the low medalist of the week with a four under par 32 and William Sullivan was the low medalist against Airport.
The JV Golf team is also undefeated at 2-0 with a win over Airport on Thursday.
Softball
Spring Valley 14, Sumter 8: The Lady Vikings opened up their season with a victory against the Sumter Lady Gamecocks. It was a great team win with strong offensive contributions from Jade Mickle, Alexis Edgerton, Breanna Martinez, Jourdan Bostic, Shay Jacobs and Maggie Tolar. Kylie Player and Sabrina Martinez both pitched very well for us, with Martinez getting the victory. Our record is 1-0, with a big tournament this weekend in Lexington. Region play will begin on Tuesday as we host Lugoff Elgin. Wish the girls good luck!

Girls Soccer
Tuesday night, the girls soccer team lost to South Aiken by a score of 3-0. The girls will play at Irmo this Friday at 7pm. This game is the Ashley Nicole Dent Memorial Game.
