Over the last several years, Richland Two has been focused on reaching out to our community members and area businesses in an effort to showcase the talents of our faculty and staff and our students.
On Monday, March 7th and Tuesday, March 8th, schools across our district will allow community members to serve as the "Principal for a Day." The goal of the program is to give community leaders and stakeholders an opportunity to experience first-hand what it takes to operate a successful school on a daily basis.
Spring Valley was lucky enough to have two community leaders for Principal for a Day. Mr. Ravi Ravindra is an IT Vice President at BlueCross BlueShield and Mrs. Darci Strickland a WLTX Evening Anchor. As our principals for a day, they observe classes with Mr.Temoney, assist with car rider line duty, attend meetings, review our Strategic Plan, and more.
