Softball
Spring Valley 7, Blythewood 3: Your Lady Vikings were able to brave the elements to win a big region game last night against the visiting Bengals.  Blythewood was up 2-1 going into the third inning, where we opened up a 5 run scoring rally. Our girls put a lot of pressure on their defense, capitalizing on some of their miscues. Overall, it was a great team win! Current record is now at 10-10, and region record has moved to 3-4.

Lexington 6, Spring Valley 3: The softball team lost to Lexington last night by a score of 6-3. Lexington scored 2 runs in the 2nd, 3rd and 4th innings. We were able to put together a little bit of a rally in the 7th inning, but came up short.  We travel to Ridge View tonight for a region match-up. Wish the girls luck!
