On June 23, 2016 our Spring Valley Viking joined other mascots from around the state to help BlueCross BlueShield employees raise money for Harvest Hope Food Bank. Mascots were paired up with employees of BlueCross BlueShield for their Wrestle Mania! event. Employees paid for the opportunity to dunk their fellow employee in a dunk tank with the mascots cheering them on.
In addition to the Spring Valley Viking, other mascots present included Smart Cat from SC ETV, Cool Can Sam from Harvest Hope Food Bank, Coach Blue from BlueChoice Medicaid, Blowie from the Lexington Blowfish, and Mason from the Columbia Fireflies. Our own Viking was paired with BlueCross BlueSheild employee Mike Harris. What a great way for our Viking to spend his summer!
