Spring Valley Competed in the National TSA Conference

Four students from Spring Valley's Chapter of the Technology Student Association (TSA) traveled to Nashville with Chapter Advisor Dr. Michael Rodgers at the end of June to compete in the National TSA Conference.

Laney Patterson, Brennan Ravan, and Nicholas Junker formed our Technology Bowl Team and placed in the top 10, winning them a spot on stage for recognition as a finalist for the Technology Bowl event.

Also, together with Paul Dubberly, these three students formed our VEX Robotics Team and placed 29th out of 58 teams in the VEX Robotics Competition event.  South Carolina sent 3 VEX Robotics Teams to the National TSA Conference: Center for Advanced Technical Studies placed 26th, Palmetto Scholars Academy placed 34th, and Spring Valley placed 29th.

It's been a great year for Spring Valley's TSA Chapter and our TSA/VEX Robotics Team 120E: Green & Gold Robotics, and we look forward to an even better year next year.
