Congratulations to Mr. Ishmael Brown who has been selected as an honoree for the Midlands Champions and Junior Champions on the Move 2017 Awards Luncheon Banquet. This banquet is hosted by the BlindSpot Art Foundation. The foundation honors ladies and men who are making a positive impact in the Columbia Midlands community and surrounding areas.
Mr. Brown also has accepted as a participant for the Fulbright-Hays Groups Abroad Project. The Fulbright-Hay Groups Abroad Project will take place in Cameroon, Africa. This program provides grants to support overseas projects in training, research, and curriculum development in modern foreign languages and area studies for teachers, students, and faculty engaged in a common endeavor. Projects may include short-term seminars, curriculum development, group research or study, or advanced intensive language programs.
