Job Opportunities for Students

Krogers at 10136 Two Notch Road and 1028 Roberts Branch Parkway are both hiring.  Go to jobs.kroger.com to apply.  If you get the job you can see Mrs. Morgan, E330, about applying for Work Based Learning credit.

The Boys & Girls Clubs of the Midlands is looking for part-time employees to work in our after school programs in elementary schools in Richland,  Kershaw and Fairfield counties. These positions will be hands on with kids under the supervision of an adult. Successful candidates will be passionate about working with kids. This opportunity is ideal for young adults interested in youth development as a career choice. We have shifts from two to five days per week from 2:30 to 5:30 pm.
Pay starts at minimum wage, but after a 30 day probation period, employees will have the opportunity to enroll in our nationally recognized apprenticeship program. This will allow them to learn youth development skills at their own pace, while earning more pay. Employees can increase their hourly wage by up to $1.50 more in a year by completing the youth development trainings we offer in partnership with Midlands Tech. Typically the trainings take about one hour per week to complete, so they are not too taxing on students.
Interested candidates should click here and complete the application and return to Miles Johnson, Director of Teen Services, at mjohnson@bgcmidlands.org(803.237.6839).
If you get a job with Boys and Girls Club you can earn Work Based Learning credit.  See Mrs. Morgan in E330 about Work Based Learning.
