Tutor.com offers FREE online tutoring for help with homework and more. Students from kindergarten through college can connect with a live tutor daily from 3:00pm to 11:00pm via Tutor.com. The SkillsCenter Resource Library that connects you to thousands of homework, test prep, and career resources is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
Also on Wednesdays at the Sandhills library is Woodsey Wednesday: Painting with Teens. Coming up next is a program where students will learn about Alma Woodsey Thomas, a black expressionist painter who taught art in Washington, DC. Students will create their own original paintings in her unique style. This event will take place on Wednesday, February 12 at 4:30 p.m. registration is required.
