Richland Two will be a big part of the Sparkleberry Fair this year!  You can find students, administrators and staff throughout the day involved in fun activities:
  • Meet Superintendent Debbie Hamm at the Richland Two tent beginning at 1 p.m!
  • All day – Vote for your favorite Richland Two teacher at the Richland two tent. The top vote getter wins $100!
  • Watch principals compete in the cow milking contest at 12:20 p.m. at the main stage.  Karen Beaman from Lonnie B. Nelson Elementary, Sean Bishton from Rice Creek Elementary, Kristen Eubanks from Bridge Creek Elementary  and Alvera Butler from Keels Elementary will vie for the Best Cow Milker title. Westwood principal Ralph Schmidt will emcee the event.

  • Share your favorite Lonnie B. Nelson memory for its 50th anniversary.  Stop by the Richland Two tent and write down highlights of your school days.

Don’t forget…proceeds from the fair benefit Richland Two.  This year 21 seniors were awarded $1,000 scholarships  and 26 teachers were awarded a total of $18,000 in grants.

The cost of the fair is $5 a carload….so grab your friends and family and spend the day at the fair!  Hours are 9 a.m. – 5 p.m.  Fair rides are open Friday night, Saturday and Saturday night!
