Employees of SCE&G, from the V.C. Summer Nuclear Power Station, visited Spring Valley science classes. They are members of NAYGN, a group of nuclear power professionals that teach students about nuclear power, energy, and STEM careers. They discussed many aspects of their profession and the power industry. Students also learned about the construction of two new power units currently being built at the station in Jenkinsville, S.C. One of the two largest cranes in the world is there now helping construct the massive containment structures.
