Over eighty Discovery magnet students traveled to Furman University in Greenville, SC for the 2015 South Carolina Junior Academy of Science (SCJAS) meeting. Students competed with both written research papers and oral presentations by category. Our students earned over thirty awards. Jenning Chen, Krishna Gorrepati, Revanth Kanumuri, Ronit Kulkarni, Lisa Qu, and Priyanka Rao won first place in both the written paper and oral presentation division. Congratulations to all of our students for their hard work and dedication. And a big thank you to their parents and research teachers, Dr. Bedlek-Anslow, Mr. Dale Soblo, and Mrs. Michelle Spigner for all of their support and guidance!
