On Saturday April 30th, the Marine Biology Club participated in a Watershed Cleanup in the Carriage Oaks neighborhood off of Clemson Road. 5 bags of trash, one tire and 10 bags of recycling were picked up and disposed of. The service project was the culmination of Water Awareness week. Throughout the week a display of plastic bag sea creatures, water tips and facts were displayed around the school. All of this was focused on bringing awareness to the Spring Valley community about the impact our decisions have on water environments.
