Girls Tennis
The girls tennis team defeated White Knoll 5-1 on Thursday.

Girls Golf
The Spring Valley lady vikings hosted a tri-match with region foes Blythewood and White Knoll, yesterday at the Woodlands country club.  All though the team improved overall in their play, it wasn't enough to defeat either team behind the strong playing of several players for both teams.  Low medalist overall for the match were Jenson and Jalen Castles (WK) and Mary Katherine Tolledo (Bly) all shooting even par 36. Low medalist for SV were Payton Starmack and Kamryn Beaman shooting 40. Team scores were: Blythewood 163, White Knoll 164 and Spring Valley 204.  Others contributing to team score were: Caroline Lumpkin and Millie Sox.

Volleyball
The Lady Vikings Volleyball teams both went 3-0 yesterday versus White Knoll High School. 
JV finished their game in 2 sets; 25-18 and 25-21. Special shout out to Freshman, Angel White with 11 serves; 7 serves in a row! Also, to sophomore, Aneisa Williams with 4 Aces, Sophomore Mikaila Widener with 4 Kills and Freshman Alisha Pitt with 7 Kills and 4 Block Kills. Way to go JV girls!

Varsity finished their game in 3 sets; 25-23, 25-18 and 25-20. Great job by ALL Varsity teammates this match who went in to play last night. Special shout out to Junior Karolyn Martin with 22 Assists, 92% serving success and 4 Aces. Junior Danielle Simpson led the team with 15 Kills and Junior Dariona Dash close behind with 9 Kills. 

The JV and Varsity Lady Vikings are now 4-2 for the season; 1-1 for the region. Saturday, the Varsity
girls hit the road to the Sumter HS Lady Gamecock Tournament; wish us luck! The next region game will be next Thursday at HOME versus Irmo HS. Mark your calendars and come out and see your Lady Vikings represent Spring Valley High School in our brand new uniforms! Go Vikings!

JV Football
Last night the JV football team lost to Sumter 8-0. The captains for last nights game were Khalif Poag and Jaiden Gardner. The defense played and excellent game and had great sacks and tackles for losses by Darien Jennings, CJ Barnes, Aiden Long and Jeremiah Hammonds. . The offense struggled the majority of the night with blocking assignments. The offensive highlight came on a 35 yard pass from Alex Hererra to Chance Cain.
