Spring Valley 8, White Knoll 6: The Lady Vikings beat a tough White Knoll team yesterday by a score of 8-6. White Knoll scored 1 run in both the first and second innings, and held us scoreless until the 4th. With 2 outs, bases loaded, and one run already across the plate, Alexis Edgerton stepped up with a 3 RBI triple into right center. We came back in the bottom of the 5th with another 4 run inning. Overall it was a great team effort! Both Jade Mickle and Jourdan Bostic went 2 for 4, and Hunter Hayes was 2 for 3, with 3 RBI’s of her own. Molly Coleman pitched 4 solid innings for us, getting the win in the circle. The girls play this weekend in the Lexington Wildcat Invitational Tournament. Wish them good luck!
